NRM rebel MPs back, throw dagger at Muhoozi
Tinkasimire

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party's infamous "rebel MPs" Theodore Ssekikubo and Barnabas Tinkasimire have asked the leadership of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces to explain to Ugandans the circumstances under which a serving UPDF officer will be rallying the electorate in Masaka City on Friday .

The rebel MPs say Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s political mobilisation is not only a breach of the UPDF Act but also Uganda's Constitution.

The two NRM rebel MPs have castigated the legality of a serving Military officer Gen Muhoozi for engaging in political mobilisation.

The two legislators now want both the Commander in Chief and the Commander of the Defense Forces to explain to Ugandans the circumstances under which a serving UPDF officer is mobilizing for a political rally in Masaka City.

They have vowed not to support Gen Muhoozi in replacing President Museveni, arguing that Uganda is not a monarchy.

These have also applauded the two senior leaders Maj. Gen Kahinda Otafiire and Abdu Nadduli for coming out to guide the party.

The rebel MPs also questioned the motive of both the Ministers and members of Parliament who are not only holding meetings with Gen Muhoozi but also mobilizing for the Patriotic league of Uganda.
